Is it possible to get a Google Adwords Representative assigned to you?

Does Google have applications to get someone on their end to be our dedicated account rep? Are there requirements for this? I can't find anything on their end saying how this can be put together, or even if they still exist.

Does anyone on here have an account rep at Google?

I doubt you can get one. Many of the people who previously had one have lost him/her. They seem to have cut back a lot on support, and push people to the forums for answers (which is completely unsatisfactory as far as I'm concerned, but they don't listen to me)

We've got a few teams of Google reps (clients from different industries have different teams) and don't bring on new clients very often. We do, however, spend more money than I ever thought was possible in one day. I think that is the key to ever getting one assigned to you.

We spend 1 mil/yr and they gave us an adwords, analytics, account specialist and a youtube rep. I get as much insight as I can as they suggest ways of spending more money. It works out ;-)

Thanks all - just heard from another friend on the agency side that Google assigns reps when you have a minimum spend of $6000. Of course, that may have been before they started pulling reps off everyone's accounts.

Generally, they want to see $6K/mo to start and the account has potential to grow to $20K or more within 3-5 months.

Our reps are incredibly helpful. Friendly, easy to deal with. We share personal cell phone numbers so there is always the ability for communication.
