Just wondered if anyone else was experiencing this - I set it up on Saturday and it hasn't activated at all - when I go to the ads diagnostic tool it tells me that my ad isn't showing due to technical difficulties and that google are aware of it

cheers

If you see that message in the diagnostic tool for more than a couple of hours, hpops, I'd guess that it is not accurate.

Most likely there is another reason why your ads are not showing, and you may want to contact AdWords support and have them take a look.

I'll also see if I can find eWhisper's famous post, on the most common reasons why ads are not showing. Until I do, though, here are a couple of likely reasons:

* Ads/keywords are of a 'sensitive' nature, and will need to be reviewed and approved before showing, even on Google.

* Your Daily budget may be set lower than (or equal to) your Maximum CPC. This will prevent your ads from showing.

* Your ad may have been mistakenly deleted (as for example, when you had really intended to delete a keyword).

OK, I am going to go look for eWhisper's post now. Most likely, by the time I find it, he will have posted to this thread already, himself. ;)

OK, here is that thread that I was hoping to find:
