I started AdWords back when it started (2002?) & began by putting all my ad groups under "Campaign #1"

Over the years I've added new ad groups for different services & the main ad groups are "shotgun" with many countries & languages which are controlled at the campaign level.

Like may other advertisers I have been paralyzed to make any changes but rising costs are forcing me to do it.

I started by setting up a new campaign just for Canada. I want to import all the settings, key words & negative keywords from 4 ad groups in Campaign #1 to the new campaign "Canada".

Understand that I have 8 or 9 new campaigns to set up.

The Canada campaign took me about an hour to move over.

Is there no easy way to copy an ad group to a new campaign?

There doesn't even seem to be a way to select an existing ad or keywords when you start the creation process.

Once the campaign is saved by creating an ad & at least one key word you can then copy them over.

Am I missing something? It's a very awkward process.

You need to use the AdWords Editor - have you tried that?

[google.com...]

Makes a HUGE difference.
