Quality score plummets after ending Website Optimizer experiment

For one of my conversion forms, I have been running a website optimizer test. From this test emerged a clear winner, which I subsequently implemented.

However, as soon as I ended the experiment and started serving my new variation, my quality score plummeted from 7/8 to a mere 2/3. Keyword relevance is 'poor' across the board, even for keywords which are in the H1 header!

What could be causing this?

if Keyword Relevance = Poor but Landing Page Quality =OK then your problem is with the CTR/Performance of the keyword and not the landing page.

Consider a creative rewrite.
