I believe in hard work and human intelligence, and these are the levels i want to compete on. Not any software. BUT this does not make them invisible for me or for my competitors.

So are they (spyfu, keywordspy and other such softwares) harmful to us advertisers? and if so than in what extant?

I ran couple of sites on spyfu and after manual check on google. The data was pretty much real the keywords, ads, ad copy changes, daily ad budget.

So are they harmful? because someone could just copy my whole campaign and build at least a temporary competition. and if not he can at least get the whole past history of my advertising strategy as he will have keywords, ads, changes on ads*, budget.

*changes on ad check - a friend is open with adwords data with me so i used his site to check and data matched. he did really changed ad on those months with exact changes.

NOTE: i searched and read every post on webmasterworldfourm already. and would like to have a moderator level response.

If you only want responses from moderators, perhaps you should just PM them. We generally don't see items entered with restrictions on who should post to them.
