No impressions and no ads showing but no letter?

So have I been banned? I have not touched anything in a few months.

So not one ad is showing and no impressions or clicks.

They used to review accounts. They still do that?

I have never seen that. Sounds more like a bug than a ban.

In the past months they have banned accounts by first stopping all campaigns (without giving a meaningful message when you hover your mouse over a keyword) and send the ban notification one day later. So it could be a ban, but it also could be a bug. Wait another day or send an email to support.

Or login, click on "help" and navigate to the "my ad is not showing section". When my campaigns stopped there was a message on that page that my ads did not show because of a billing issue. One day later I received the ban notification via email.

Shoot! sounds like a ban. Been worried about this for 3-4 years. We do not do any of the stuff they are targeting but we do affiliate marketing so that seems to be the issue.

Just curious, are you a 'thin' affiliate with mainly affiliate ads on your site, or do you have a more complete affiliate site that provides 'value' to the user?

I've been wrestling with the affiliate concept, and trying to figure out why some affiliates are still running, and some are not...

Same thing happened to me, after I wrote they replied the account was "under review" by the adwords specialist team. That was ten days ago, still no news so don't hold your breath.

Incidentally, they send me a Happy Holidays email after the ads were disabled, how kind of them -)

Crud! Ten days is an eternity in the online ad world.

Most likely you are banned for an unstated and obscure ridiculous reason.

But they want to make clear that this ban shouldn’t affect your holidays!

I never received an e-mail stating I was banned, yet all of our critical keywords, that is keywords that were receiving traffic got the dreaded 1/10 back in early December. When I try to add a new payment method, I get a 'declined' message from the payment page.

So the question I have am I banned? Sure seems like it, but strange that I didn’t receive any notification from Google. I will say that our main site URL was humming along just fine, then we made the mistake of modifying a campaign that had problems. Next thing I see, all of our account received the 1/10 QS. So I assume that it was a manual review.

I still think our main site is OK, but now what? I've yet to contact Google, as I wade through the forums gathering information, and planning an attack.

Any ideas?

They are saying midweek. fingers crossed but also working like heck on other stuff.
