FLASH Site vs. Google slap

So I'm an affiliate looking at promoting a company.

The problem is their site is entirely done in database driven flash, including their product pages, shopping cart, affiliate management systems, etc.

So there may potentially be problems with their ad bot being unable to scan the site properly resulting in low quality scores, etc. And also not my site, so I can't change anything on it.

Am I looking at Adwords suicide from the G-SLAP by even trying to promote this site?

Or should I wait until google tech can catch up to current cutting edge web stuff?

Google does index Flash websites. They've been doing this for a couple of years now. I can see some of the Flash content on my website appear in search results.

The rules of SEO still apply to Flash.

I just don't know how Google handles dynamic Flash content which is loaded via XML by Flash. That type of content might not be indexed.

I recommend that you use URLs to request documents, and not have the Flash load content dynamically. Also, inside the HTML for the Flash object tag you should place the article's content.

It's perfectly possible to create an indexed Flash site with good SEO. You shouldn't get slapped if you know what you're doing.
