Hi,

Both Google Adwords and Analytics today report a CPC that I can not find in my server logs.

What should I do?

mustan9,

I guess you are seeing a click in Adwords and Analytics that you can't find in your server logs right?

You are aware that there is a time lag between these applications?

I think the Adwords interface is (at least) 3 hours behind and Analytics is 24 hours.

You need to sync up your record systems?

Cheers

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

I think I resolved the problem.

If I search the log for yesterday clicks from Nov 22, then nothing appears, but Google reports a click for that day.

When I search the log for two days ago Nov 21, then I find the reported click. Which is strange because Google reports that click took place on Nov 22.

I think what is happening is my server logs are in a different timezone from Google's Interface.

I need to either change the timezone of my server or change Google's timezone.

Is it possible to change the timezone in Google's interface?

I'm not sure about the timezone. Might be better to start a new thread?

Cheers

[...] If I cancel my adwords account, can I still log in to check invoices for my accounting in the future?

I am sorry to have to say that it is not, mustan9. This is one of two things that I can recall offhand that can not be edited - with the other being the currency in which you are billed.
