Hello All,

I apologize if this has been posted before, I tried searching for it and did read up on the article here:

[adwords.google.com...]

But I'm still a bit confused.

In the adwords Keyworld tool if I search for a keyword, for example "Banner" with Phrase Match it's default to a estimated average cpc $2.27 bid for position 1-3. Now if I input a maximum CPC of $1.27 I get a estimated average cpc of $.85 but still for position 1-3.

Can someone please shed some light on this?

Thanks guys.

Position 1-3 is a big range, you might be closer to 1 with the $2.27 bid and closer to 3 with the $1.27 bid - but still in the range.

How did the estimated clicks change? I'm assuming they went down...

I really don't use this tool too much b/c result vary so much. Get the keyword up and running for a couple of days and see what you get. You might find you can bid even lower and still get in the 1-3 range - but never really can tell until its live.
