displayed URI -vs- actual URI

does the displayed uri versus the actual uri play a role in your QS?

i.e.

if i have a displayed uri of: www.example.com/hotstuff/

and the actual uri is: www.example.com/plans/ideas/hot-stuff

my landing page content would be very relevant of course, and nothing will be "scammy"...

or should i develop a specific landing page for:

www.example.com/hotstuff/

and have the displayed uri the same as the actual uri

[smallcompany]

and have the displayed uri the same as the actual uri

I don't believe it helps to "really" match display and destination URLs.
