The business we cater is present in different cities. I am unable to figure out the best possible way for selecting keywords. Please advise the best from you experience.

Lets take an example:
I am targetting india. I have business in Mumbai and Goa.

Following are the options i thaught about:
1) Should I select mumbai word in my keywords list.
For e.g: widget widget mumbai
2) Should I not use mumbai keyword in the keywords list
For e.g: widget widget.

If you have any other thoughts please post it as well.

Any help highly appreciated.

Thanks.

Thank you for giving inputs.

But do you recommend to take in mumbai word in keyword / keyphrase or not?

no ..becuase if your ads are showing in mumbai..then no reason to ad mumbai in your keyword .

If you are targeting the whole of India and you can ship your product to anywhere in India, dont use mumbai widget widget, just widget widget will do the trick. (Ensure you have the campaign settings set to target only India) But, if your widget has a particular association with the city, build out a separate geo-modified keyword campaign(s) with mumbai/goa terms.

Hope this helps!
