Link to Multiple Products Within an Image Ad

I'm starting to use Site Targeted image ads. I wanted to try an ad with 2-3 product images and set it up so the user goes to the specific product they click on.

Can this be done in Adwords? It would basically be an image map (btw, all URLs are within the same domain, just different product pages).

Thanks!

Interesting question. I'd like to do this with Flash.

Looks like it is possible (at least with Flash)
[adwords.google.com.au...]

Won't be an image map but you'll have the same functionality. Keeping it under 50k will be necessary.

Let me know how you get on, as I say, I find this stuff interesting.

I think you should also look for the option of Google Gadget ads this could also be very handy in this case (depending On the availability in your Country).

i don't think you can do this.

usa version of the aussie help file someone else posted above about the details of how it must br programmed in flash... which i read both USA and AU as basically saying one url per ad.
[adwords.google.com...]

but if you want that with higher clarity...

[adwords.google.com...]
(section called Destination URL)

"Our system only allows one destination URL per ad for text, image/Flash, and click-to-play video ads."

so if you meant different urls for these different products, i don't think they allow it.

change just rolled out:
[adwords.blogspot.com...]

among other changes, is this one:
~~~~~~~~~~
Use multiple destination URLs: If you're displaying multiple products within your ad, the new templates allow you to assign a different destination URL to each featured product, rather than directing users who click to a single, generic page that may be less targeted. This can help improve conversion rates, making your marketing more cost-efficient. Note that all the top-level domains of each destination URL within an ad must match.
Do you think we can only use multiple images if we use the AdWords display ad builder? That is my impression on rereading the announcement.
