When you select multiple options from the conversion tracking code wizard, and place those different options on their respective success pages. Will google track these conversions seperately or will it combine the conversions into one lump total in reporting?
Scenerio:
Once the user clicks a link on one of my Google Adword ads they are taken to a landing page. This landing page will convince the user to sign up and register at my web site (step one of two). The next step for the user is to submit further information which we will call a (RFI) Request For Information form. So there are two seperate lead forms that I wish to track seperately. One is a sign up and one is a RFI form for our site.
When setting up conversion tracking you can select from 4 options. 2 of those options are a 'signup' and a 'sales lead' and are the ones I would that best suit my business goals.
So the question is, if I put the 'signup' conversion tracking code on the signup success page and the 'lead' conversion tracking code on the RFI lead success page will Google report these conversions seperately or will it just total up how many 'total' conversions I have had?
I am tracking a sign-up and lead. This is to a degree a two step process, in the fact that to generate a lead someone must 'sign-up'.
When I went to check this in the reporting, it still left combined the two figures in the same manner it does in the campaign management feature.
Any thoughts?
