Hello everyone.

I am a newbie to this Google Adwords game and first I would like to say that I am really impressed. It is a really neat system. I am, however, a little annoyed about something. I set the keywords and so far I have had 5 “Restore Full Delivery” emails on my account in a week. What really ticks me off is the impressions not updating fast enough so I can catch the slow keywords and disable/change them. At the campaign level the stats seem to update often but when you get down to the Ad group level, the impressions are not updated and a note on the bottom even says that the clicks and impressions in the last 3 hours may not be included. I don’t know if G does this intentionally but I think they should give their advertisers a little more time to look at their accounts before slowing the ads. I can’t sit in front of the computer all day and hit refresh. What are your thoughts/insights on this? Any response/advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Abel

"Restore full delivery" came more than often to my account when I started using AdWords. I initially did what it told me. I was really frustrated.

After awhile, I ignored it and used the button only when I have to.

These are what I did:
- waiting for more slowdown keywords and restored full delivery when I want to make some key changes or testings.
- using the [exact] match, specific keyphrases, more negatives
- avoiding generic keywords
- expanding the keywords

Once your account is established (after a month?), you will never see it anymore.

Good luck!

Thank you.

I figured it's becuase I am starting and do not yet know all ins and outs of the system. It doesn't discourage me but just makes me feel sorry I have to spend the extra $5 every third time.
