I have used Google Ad words before but stopped.
I found it then really hard to monitor.
Also I've tried searching some of the keywords I 'subscribed' for but never saw my ads in any of those searches. That made me wonder if it was really working.
Can someone advise me if that's how it really works?
Also what is the min average you have to spend to see some results? I know this is personal and different to all using AdWords but I would like to just get some feedback on how much most of you have to pour into google's bank account before you begin see conversion or hits increase (personal opinion)...just thought you guys like to share your thoughts.
I started out with about $200 and nothing much...(although that was then). I am thinking of going back to it.
...if it was really working
Yes, it was and will be. That is a reason why someone is willing to spend over $50 per click.
Also what is the min average you have to spend to see some results?
From couple of dollars and up.
My best advise to you is you have to read more in this forum where you will learn how to select the keywords for your campaign, set up an ad, bid for a position, etc.
This forum is a pretty good indication of how complicated Google really is. You need to understand how Google works before you turn on your AdWords campaign or start small and get bigger as you get more comfortable with the AdWords program. You can always hire a professional pay per click set up and management company because they work with Google AdWords day in, day out and they are very familiar with how to squeeze the most out of the AdWords program.
It's not always Google's fault when things don't work out. Landing pages are CRITICAL to the success of any AdWords campaign. The person searching wants to click one time to find what they are looking for. If you send them to your home page to play a game of hunt and find...chances are you will not be happy with your conversions. Also, if the landing page doesn't convince the person to act (sign up for newsletter, purchase product, pick up phone and call, etc.)...you will not be happy with any advertising campaign you have pointed to your site.
Good luck!
