Did anyone else get this nice gift for the New Year?

It is a black Google apron, Google chefs cookbook, and a book with AdWords tips.

I came here looking for a thread about it... am I really the first to get mine?

I see now after a search that some folks got these back in July '08. Maybe they had leftovers and decided to mail them out to the 'little guys'? LOL

Anyway -- it is fun getting surprise packages in the mail!

This is the first year in many we did not receive a gift at all, so you must have really made a special list in tough times.

Last year we got the mini-firdge, and this year we didn't even get coal.

Based on the information in the package these were sent to the oldest customers, not those with the highest spend. I was pretty disappointed in the tip book. I was thinking there would be some good suggestions in there, but it was pretty low-level advice.

I got a bill, 12 of them to be exact, and nothing else. Of course I didn’t get anything from my hosting provider, the radio stations or news papers I advertise in, or the freelance coder from Pakistan that I’m sure lived like a king off of the work I gave him this past year either!

I'm ok with that, my mailman didn't get anything from me this year either.

My hosting provider gave me 4 "no strings attached" free hosting accounts -- and I tipped the UPS guy. ;-)
