Do you do anything different to your landing pages? Ours are a little more condensed. Also, I was told to add downloads to the landing pages because they are our best source for leads..... I don't know about that.. Can someone give me some more info on that..?

Thanks for any help!

I haven't marketed my own website in almost a year so it took me three weeks this time to revamp my Google account to work with my website. It didn't take long to update my AdWords account and it was working great but my conversions were terrible.

I started creating new landing pages for each AdGroup but initially, I still did not get the results I wanted. I started rewording my landing pages with obvious keywords from the AdGroup and repeating my title and/or descriptions somehow on the pages. I also created text that was about the specific problems and solutions for the audience for each separate page (every page offered the same solution but the difference was the reference to the industry/people that I targeted). Bingo. My conversions kicked in.

Not sure what you are referring to about the downloads unless that is specific to your industry.

For my site, my conversions come from emails or phone calls asking for more information on the services I provide.

justshelley - thanks for your post, great stuff!

Regarding the downloads - I was told that the downloads attract visitors to contact you. So downloading a demo, or powerpoint presentation about your product would give them more incentive to contact you.

Thanks again!
