Anyhow, I bid high as it is about TM and affiliate competitors in the space. Click cost is fine, except one that is over $23. I pause the keyword as I am going to visit the whole campaign later. Just about 20 minutes later, the same keyword is still showing one click only, and average price bit over $11.
Have you ever saw such adjustments “on the go”?
I do recall something similar way back in the past when it looked like clicks were reported at certain number and price, and then corrected (automatically) so reporting looked bit different for the same period of time.
I’m not blaming the system for errors, but wonder about how complex the algorithm is today, and how fair the pricing is.
I've also noticed that some fields update faster than others, so the spend can be more up to date that the impressions for example, or the other way around.
My guestimate is that it takes at least 3 hours for any data coming into Adwords to settle down, and at times of particular stress it can be longer.
