Msg # 10

I know I have a very high standard to match - that set by GoogleGuy. I'll do my best. Only 1642 posts to go, and I'll be where he is today!

Congrats AWA and keep up the good work!

Congrats AWA and keep up the good work!

Ha! Thanks Robsp, for the very kind words, and for pointing out my goal - which I had completely forgotten! As I've said before, posting here is a favorite part of my 'day at AdWords'. I'm very glad to still be a part of this really excellent Forum.

By the way, your timing is incredible. In exactly 2 minutes I'm having a 'performance review' with management, and I'm going to print your post out and take it with me. ;)

So thanks for that too!

Nice spot Robsp.

One of the reasons this forum has been very valuable and active is due to Google's continued presence and support.

I think AWA has exceeded many of our (at least my) expectations with his vigor in finding answers to some very technical and often off-the-wall interesting questions.

I'm waiting for post 2000 so I can do the next set of AWA Info Posts: [webmasterworld.com...]

Absolutely right! Although the gap between perfection and Adwords' customer service is sizable, so too is the gap between Adwords' customer services and certain well-known competitors'customer service. And one of the biggest reasons for this is the the participation of AWA here. There is a genuine interaction with the customers and a real willingness to hear and understand what the customers' problems are. As time has passed, the first gap has gotten smaller and the second one bigger.

I just had to have post #1642 in this thread. So here it is!

Just think: I am today where GoogleGuy was on July 9, 2003.

Next Goal: To catch up again, to where GG is today!

Hey, thanks for the nice comments, eWhisper and cline. Much appreciated.

AWA,
GG had 2405 posts as of today. So, you still have to work harder. There are 763 posts to go.

Time well spent, AWA? After all, there can't be many who actually get paid to lurk around in forums (fora)..;-)

From my perspective your contributions, support and advice within this forum is of immeasurable value. Thank you.

Holy cow, AWA! Congrats are in order--that was fast. Your posting velocity is much better than mine. :)

You're breathing down my neck! Soon the webmasters will be placing bets on when our post numbers intersect. :)

Hmmm... by my quick calculation if both of your post rates stay the same since 7/17/03 (I'm a nerd but i'm not about to analyze any further than this), you should cross paths around post 3000 in just about 1 years time.

I'll say 3,021 posts on Nov. 14, 2005.

Lets keep the tradition going. AWA should now introduce a new google member to the boards! You can never have too many =)

With all these spam posts by GG and AWA I'd think a lot of people know who these two are.

It would be interesting (and this is my suggestion, so I want a CC of the results :) )

Next time G does a survey, they should add a question, 'Do you know who GoogleGuy & AdWordsAdvisor are?'

Cross referencing the results with 'Yes' and 'No', would be quite interesting to see advertising patterns/answers.

Now that would be a fascinating experiment. I'll pass the idea on this week eWhisper, but I wouldn't hold my breath - as good an idea as it may seem to us.

;)
