After seeing so many sites closed by Adsense for invalid clicks (click bots, self clicks, clicks from similar IPs, clicks via proxy etc), I wonder if anyone got refund or credit from Google? It seem google is taking money out of us, even though the clicks are invalid and never paid to cheaters. No wonder profit is up.

Yes, I saw some "overdelivery credits", (described as promotional credits, invalid clicks, or courtesy credits). Since I've never talked to an advisor, nor did I spend anywhere near my daily budget, I can only assume they're for invalid clicks.
These showed up under "Billing Summary" -> "Advertising Costs"
BTW, I'm not a big spender, either. I've spent less than $20 which included the initial $5 sign up.
