This effectively limits you to precisely 2500 ad groups. They do say there is no hard stop at 100 ad groups per campaign - obviously as I have more than that in one campaign... But I am really looking to get a straight answer as to what the maximum ad group limitation is. I'm afraid that going over 100 per ad group (or 2500 total across 25 campaigns) could serve as a reason to kick you from the program - something I really don't want as the ads I personally use - as well of those of my partners, are quite important to us all. Anyone have any thoughts?
I emailed G about the campaign limit - and during the course of the conversation, I learn that Google asks that advertisers adhere to the recommended maximum of 100 ad groups per campaign.

DingoNY, although there is a 'hard stop' to the number of campaigns, there is not a similar 'hard stop' for Ad Groups. Please let me set your mind at ease, however, regarding exceeding the suggested number. This will not get you 'kicked from the program', I promise you.
What is possible, however, is that one might continue to add Ad Groups to the point where the account is no longer easily navigable.

Thanks AWA. As I said - I have about 200 in one campaign right now - and while I have a very fast network connection, I have not noticed any real performance issues while navigating my account. Some minor delay yes - but overall very responsive.

Thank you - I can now proceed with the other campaigns I was planning. I do wish that the 25 campaign limit was not in place. From an organization standpoint - I'd love to have a much higher number, with much smaller quantities of ad groups within those campaigns.
