Google using Adwords to get Adwords advertisers

Not that it is bad at all, just funny.
I found an ad on an accounting related website, that read "Are you an Accountant? Use Google adwords to get more clients".

I think I've never seen these kind of ads before... :)

I wonder how they qualify their landing page.. hehe

Ya, they did that when they first started AdWords, but nice to see it is still working.

For those of you who own agencies or work for agencies, you need to know that Google is aggressively marketing directly to the companies that spend money with them right now (this applies mostly for those companies that have a Google rep directly assigned to that company - not just to your agency).

This isn't necessarily a bad thing. The best advice I can give is for you to talk to your Google agency rep before they contact your client directly to make sure that you work WITH Google as they present their full service line to your clients.

This can actually be great news for you and help you expand Google services beyond what you already offer your client.
