Good day all!

Did any of you see minimum CPC of less then 0.18cents for any keywords?

(during the past 3 months)

Sure, but it depends on your industry, keywords, quality score, etc. But, I've seen minimum bids as low as $0.01 - during the past 3 months and longer.

Interesting... I have not seen anything lower then 0.18 cents, even for keywords that literally do not get searched..
(currency is CAD)
If it's not a secret, how long did you have your Adwords accounts for? May be it's because my account is 7 months old only.

That's a fairly weird number. Across all my clients, all accounts, all keywords, since they first started QS, all I've ever seen were these:

.01, .02, .03, .04, .05 (Great QS)
.10, .15, .20, .30 (OK QS)
.40, .50, 1.00, 5.00, 10.00 (Poor QS)

Thank you for the update, i found it quite weird too, i even
had 2 new accounts created and was running into the same problem.

One of the weird things that i noticed is keyword that have almost
no search volume and no competition, but high min CPC.
Example: Wiki[widget]

Because it's not based on search volume or competition, but how relevant Google thinks your ad is to your site.

:) but i put the keyword in the ad twice, plural and singular,
and the landing page has a 4% keyword density for that keyword too.

And don't take it from me:
listen to what ByronM has to say

For example i've done the "bite the bullet ads" - you know, find a good keyword - that NO one bids on, bid on it only to find a 1.00 min CPC - pay that 1.00 min CPC to find out that that you're never going to get smart priced.

This guy seems to know what he's doing, [IMHO] google has an algo which determines if some keywords can be potentially profitable and slaps on a HIGH min CPC even if there are no bidders on those keyword.
What do you think?
