There is a section that talks about "Keyword URLs"
So if my page I'm promoting is...
[domain...]
Can I have
Display: Domain.com
Landing: [domain.com...]
Is that ok? or does the display have to be Domain.com/dog.htm
heyday
In the example that Google gives..
_______
Your ads will be approved if the URL of your landing page domain matches that of your display URL domain.
For example, the following would be acceptable:
* Display URL: www.google.com/adwords
* Destination URL: www.trackingurl.com/google123
* Landing page URL: www.google.com
_______
The example is confusing......
For years now we have always done our ads like this.....
Title
Line 1
Line 2
Domain.com
The landing page goes to [domain.com...]
This is major bad news if these ads will not be approved in the future. Many times what comes after the "slash" won't fit in the display url...
This is not good if this is the case....
But what is the definition of a "keyword" url.... and how does it differ from a regular url.....
Default URLs are set for each ad text, but URLs can also be set for each individual keyword - which overrides the default.
In the example that Google gives..
_______Your ads will be approved if the URL of your landing page domain matches that of your display URL domain.
For example, the following would be acceptable:
* Display URL: www.google.com/adwords
* Destination URL: www.trackingurl.com/google123
* Landing page URL: www.google.com
This example is just stating that your "Display URL" must match whatever page your visitor ultimately lands on... not necessarily the "Destination URL" supplied to Google. In the example above, if an advertiser provides a "tracking URL" to Google which then redirects to a page that matches the domain of the Display URL - then all is good.

If I'm understanding correctly, I believe you're fine - as the Display URL matches the domain of the page your visitors ultimately reach.
