I deleted a campaign on adword

why wont it leave the screen

A campaign on adwords that I was running about two or three weeks ago i deleted.. For some reason, although it says deleted, it is just there on the screen... How can I get that off the screen or does it just sit there saying its deleted.... Is there a way to lierally remove that whole campaign off the screen even though its deleted.. thanks

Select 'show only active adgroups' in the campaign summary. The group will remain in your account in case you want to reactivate it at a later date.

Yep, it'll still be in the database.

At every level of your account, you can choose to not see inactive stuff. However the information still remains in the database.

You'd probably be surprised how often advertisers want access to their deleted information, even when they once thought they'd never need it again.

For income tax purposes, for example. ;)
