Do I have to install separate GAW conversion tracking if I have GA?

AdWords isnt' showing any conversions. Does it need separate tracking?

Hi GAA! I think you're just the person for this question. I have Google Analytics installed, and an AdWords account. I've become concerned because it appears that *none* of my AdWords visitors are meeting my goals, at least not according to GA. I saw on my AdWords account that it has separate conversion tracking available. Is this something that needs to be installed as an adjunct to GA?

Yep, you need to install the Google Conversion Tracking code snippet (that loads on your confirmation / receipt page), it's separate from the GA tracking code (that loads on every page in your site).

Hi Juvie!,

This is correct. Analytics & AdWords Conversion Tracking are separate products, and so both snippets of code will have to be installed.

By the way, there is an important different between GAW conversion tracking and Google Analytics. Only put the GAW conversion tracking pixel on the conversion page (not every page like for Analytics).
