Hello,

For the past several days, I am unable to access adwords. I have read other posts on this topic, but nothing has helped.

When I try to enter the adwords home/login page the following appears.
Title - "Cannot find server"
Body - "The page cannot be displayed, etc., etc..."

The browser is IE6
The ISP is Verizon DSL (but I have verified that friends with Verizon DSL can access adwords login page)
Virus protection is McAfee(but I did disable it to see if it had any effect)

I have taken the following steps in attempts to correct the problem.

-added [adwords.google.com...] to Trusted Sites list on Security tab (IE 6)

-added google.com to always allow cookies on Privacy tab (IE 6)

-SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0 are selected on advanced tab. (IE 6)

-checked the Hosts file to make sure there was no reference to adwords.google.com

-Searched all system files for adwords (not quite sure why, but figured I might have missed something).

-Uninstalled spyware remover after restoring original settings.

-Uninstalled MSN toolbar

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Close all your browsers. Goto Control panel > internet options. Click on settings. Open the folders 'view files' and 'view objects' and delete them all. (If there are some cookies you wish to save, deselect them).

Close internet options, and restart your browser.

This truly clears the cache, clearing the cache when the browser is open sometimes doesn't delete all the temp files.
