Context numbers not showing for every ad in my campaign

I created an ad campaign over a month ago. It initially had 1 ad in it. It was running decently, but I decided to add a second ad to the campaign.

Now, the 2nd ad has numbers posted in the "Content Total" row. The first campaign doesn't. After doing some reading, my understanding is the "Content Total" numbers show up if the "Content Network" box is checked in the Campaign settings form.

Since this is set at the campaign level, how come I only have "Content Total" numbers in 1 ad?

Cheers!

Pardopardo, your query is a bit hard to answer because you are sort of interchanging the use of the terms 'campaign' and 'ad' at one point, and I can't be sure that I've understood what you've got.

But based on my best interpretation, and not being able to see the ads/keywords, etc. I'd just guess that the first Ad Group (which is what I think you mean) just isn't a match for any of the partner sites currently showing AdWords ads.

It is fairly unusual, I'll admit, but I've certainly seen Ad Groups that get no impressions (or very few) from partner sites.

Another possible explanation is that Ad Group #1 is not approved. This would limit it's appearance to Google alone.

Also, be sure to check the date range you are set to. Are the numbers any different, for example, for the date range of 'all time'?

Really, this would be a question best answered by AdWords support, who can see your actual account. In this case, the answer lies in the details, which none of us here can see.

AWA, thanks for the input! I'll check with adwords support. You are right, I did use campaign and ad group interchangably. My mistake.

Thanks again!
