How long to improve quality score

Long story short, a campaign which is over 2 years old is now costing 1.80 compared to .79 for top positioning.

If I were to make the changes necessary to improve my quality score, how long does it take to start seeing an affect? (Assuming I optimize everything to Google's liking)

In the SEO world, optimizing your page meant waiting for the next update to see if your hard work paid off. That can take months....I'm hoping it's much quicker for the AdWords quality algo.

Thanks!

Uban,

you are far more experienced then me, still i would like to ad my observations.

i was struggling with the campaign, but after streamlining it i have seen good results in 6 days......dont really know what exactly you are after, but i think a week or two should be enough for you to see some changes in figures.
