I am getting thousands of impressions, but dont know if the clicks are worth it?

can i as who is or who has not had success with the content network and why or why not?

Are you running it separately from your search campaigns?

Analytics.. analytics.. analytics..

I consistently make a profit with the content network, as do many other advertisers. It depends on your industry. I'm only in one industry, but some campaigns work and some don't. So its up to you to track and evaluate.

Content network, once optimized properly, can be extremely profitable. One thing to keep in mind is that impressions in content do not affect QS in search. I'd test a content only campaign following the Adwords help guidelines:

[adwords.google.com...]

Once metrics on this test are gathered, a proper ROI based analysis can begin. I've found results differ with industry & each business owner or account manager should be able to make this decision easily once enough time passes.
