Does Google advertise on its own search network?

The search for "bayesian" on Google.com brings up an ad for jobs at Google.

This ad doesn't show up on the search network sites.

Does Google lack confidence in its search network?

Hello,

Its free on thier own network. They have to pay their search partners. Seems to me that is the more likely reason the ad doesn't appear on the search network.
