Ad being shown, but KWs not in list

Hi Folks,
We have an ad showing for a KW that is not in our list. And the KW is not a variation of something else.... i.e. widget being in our list and the ad being shown for big widgets or yellow widgets.

Further the search function within AdWords is not working properly. I'm looking at my KW list. I did a search for a KW I can see and the search is reporting back

"Search Results
No campaigns, ad groups, keywords, or ads contain any of the following words: rg1

Please check to be sure you spelled the search term(s) correctly."

Any suggestions? I would be happy to give more specifics.

It is most likely a broad match that G makes. If you do not want your ad for this keyword just ad it as a negative to either an adgroup or your entire campaign.
