CTR for Google only

They should have this

I've had numerous discussions with my Google rep and I understand the relevancy issue with Google users as opposed to the whole network, but what Google should do is display a CTR for Google only. This will help us optimize keywords that are under performing and fix keywords that are losing click through rate before Google slows it down.

Their "strong", "moderate" and "at risk" categories are too broad and vague to make an accurate assessment of how our changes are working. And to just have it run on Google alone to see the rate defeats the purpose of advertising on Google, to get lots of targeted traffic from them AND their partners.

With a CTR we will know exactly how our keywords are doing on Google only by seeing the rate either increase or decrease with the changes we make.

This will benefit both advertiser and the user as ads will be more relevant and we as advertisers can maximize our campaigns (which benefits Google).

I think all of us would support this and I guess the Google engineers are trying to keep things simple (a new set of figures helps 10% and confuses the other 90%).

I'm all for it though!

I agree with you ppcads!

Wouldn't it be easy to just add a "Google search only" under reporting? It wouldn't confuse the users.

But I guess they don't want us optimizing too much.
