I have been testing the waters with ads that run only in the US. I am thinking of running ads internationally to see what kind/amount of traffic i can get...
How do most of you run your international ads? Do you create seperate campaigns? Or do you simply increase the scope in your original campaign? Any drawbacks to either strategy?
I have a physical product, i can ship it anywhere in the world.... My question i guess is also, will people from any where in the world be willing to buy and pay extra shipping to get it from outside their own country?
Have you guys (who do this) seen a significant boost from going international?
Will the price of keywords be the same when they run international?
Thanks,

Yes, you definitely want to separate International campaigns from Domestic and between each country/market - firstly, for language reasons (if applicable), but mainly due to mixing vastly different quality sources of traffic. You'll want to monitor how each market performs and you'll want the high-performing piece in one market to not be diluted by poor performance in another market.

In our experience, yes... but it depends a bit on the uniqueness of your product and the final shipping price (+ taxes). Payment option preferences per country, however, are a big deal in quite a few countries.

In our case - yes. Very much so.

Most likely - they will be different. Whether or not they are higher or lower depends on the vertical and a lot of other factors... in our experience, there's less competition internationally - meaning that the prices are lower.
