Competitive research & benchmarking accuracy?

I have been using certain programs to try and analyze competitors adwords campaigns! like spyfu, keycompete, etc..

How accurate are these programs?

Any suggestions as to what to use to thoroughly benchmark competition within an industry with alot of compeition?

I'm looking for something also. The information I got back with spyfu we're not reliable.

I haven't heard anything on keycompete and didn't want to pay to try without hearing testimonies.

Does anyone else know recommend any good competitive research tools for PPC?
