Is there any way at all to tell if your ads have been approved for the search network? I want to know if I am getting full exposure yet and if this is what I should expect in terms of clicks/day or will I see a big increase. I have had my ads up for about 22 hours now, how long does it usually take?

Give it 2-4 days, especially if you submit ads late on a Friday or over the weekend. It can be a lot faster but they should definitely start to show within about 4 days.
