We have a prospective client that wants to start new campaigns with a very large number of adverts, say 100K. Is there a bulk uplaod facility to Adwords?

Yes. you can download the Adwords editor which will do this for you.

There is a keyword and advert upload function in it.

You can download it here: [google.com...]

Hi John,

100K adverts?

How many campaigns and ad groups are you talking about?

And why so many?

But do I have to break up the 100k into say 100 ads over 100 adgroups and 10 campaigns or can I actually upload in one go!

It seems unlikely that i can paste in 100K keywords in one go.

Big difference in work load.

you likely won't be able to load up 100k keywords at all. If memory serves me there is a limit of 25k or 50k (can't remember which exactly).

You could likely get it increased, but would need to talk with adwords support directly.

50k is the limit for a standard account, you can get more if you use you keywords well up to a million as I understand it.

I would recommend uploading a bulk of over 50k kw's in parts. Uploading more at the same time (and processing them) is quite a hog...
