I'm looking for a bid management tool that can optimize for pure profit. A couple of the tools that i've used can target for CPA or traffic, but all i'm interested in is pure profit.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Pure profit?

Do you mean ROI, having provided your users with a good experience, or regardless of doing so? In the latter category, for example, come advance-free-fraud, timeshare, fake drugs and fashion items, etc, and they can rake in millions.

Can you be a little clearer as to what you actually want?

If your focus is to optimize for pure profit (revenues minus costs), your best choice will be AdWords Booster (www.adwordsbooster.com). However, this service is just for Google and doesn't support Yahoo and MSN (yet?).

TLuv,

Sticky me if you want more details, but my firm (Efficient Frontier) is managing $300M+ in annual ppc spend worldwide (more than any other firm) and has dozens of clients for which we manage to Profit. We're applying portfolio trading algorithms from Wall St to the optimization of large ppc campaigns for ~70 of the top 500 ppc advertisers, and have been doing this for 4+ years now.

I'm obviously partial, but our solution does what you're looking for, and has the benefit of having been proven at scale with over 100 extremely large ppc advertisers.

without pointing out the obvious, your business needs to be a profitable one for this to work, obviously we all know that right?

and I agree with Shorebreak, I have yet to see another solution which can work as well as their system.

tluv,
Channel Advisor just came out with Search Advisor that will do bid management to profit. Just released last week (Feb 8). I'm not affiliated, just saw a review of it on clickz
