AdWords Conversion Tracking Image

... and framed pages

We are promoting a small site on AdWords. The objective of the campaign is to send clicks to three pages within the site - page1.htm, page2.htm and page3.htm.

To check the effectiveness of the keywords, we want to consider a click on one of the 3 pages as a conversion. But the darn Google tracking image loads up in those pages if we install the code directly in page 1, 2 and 3.

What happens if the three pages are loaded in a frame? Will the Google code still work? Will the image be seen? And is it against AdWords TOS to load the code in a frame?

Vibgyor79, I've admitted in public that I am not the world's leading authority on conversion tracking. However, here are a few thoughts. I hope others will jump in as well.

* The tracking code will work with frames.

* However, the image must still appear - and not be hidden, obscured, or shrunk - per the TOS.

* To track the three pages independently, you'll probably want to use the 'advanced' tool, and use the different transaction types to track the three different pages.

Hope this helps.
