After almost 2 year of Adword My auction site has been suspended becouse an auction user listed for sale a not allowed item.

Many times users listed not allowed items and I always deleted them when I later found out or when this was brought to my attention by Adword, but this time, may be not knowing the nature of an auction listing site and that the not allowed item was not listed intentionally by me, they decided to suspend my account without even asking to delete the item.

what can I do to explain I didn't list the item and I'm willing to delete any item they ask me to?

thanks

The problem is probably that you don't have any way of preventing it from happening again so, therefore, it could happen again without your knowledge. I'd put a system in place to prevent such things from happening *then* contact Google.

nobody can prevent a listing in an auction, classified, forum, blog, or any other interactive site. You can only delete it afterwards.

Even deleting the category wan't do becouse they will list inside the "other items" category.

That's a bit pessimistic isn't it?

What about building up a list of keywords and using some sort of script that checks a new listing for flagged words and puts it in a pre-moderation list before it goes live on the site.

naturally a list of keywords can be built but will not help much with an auction site where mostly of the not allowed items are variations of allowed items to be recognized only in picture. (with or without red cap)

Anyway My ads are running without problems on Overture that has a similar policy

How about approving each item before it goes to the site?

this is not posssible. The items are listed from many different countries and the sellers want to see their auctions running the same moment are posted.

I tried to explain the problems of an auction site to Adwords, I hope they will understand otherwise I will have to double my Overture keywords. ( a lot of work to do)
