Yeap. If you have a dedicated account manager, I believe they provide this service already but I think it's still a somewhat manual process for the rep. However, this bulk upload tool is invaluable, almost every other PPC company out there has had one for many years now, and adwords was very sorely lacking in this important feature. Let's hope for the best.
You know, bulk upload may make it too hard to keep up with all the irrelevant submissions that they have to review by hand!
Now it simpler, there is just so much you can submit at a time. If they make it too easy to submit thousands of listings, their editors will have a hard time trying to determine the good and the irrelevant ones.
What do you think?
1. Download my reports into excel.
2. Import the ROI/conversion info from my tracking program.
3. Sort the keywords by ROI/Conversions.
4. Delete/reorganize/add keywords as necessary.
5. Cut/paste what is necessary into the bulk upload form.
6. Reupload my new keywords/groups/etc
That would be much quicker than looking at all the adgroups individually for large accounts.
Calling AWA,,,
you wanna have a chat about this :)
Heheh - I've been away from the Forum since Thursday evening, so haven't seen recent posts here till this morning.
Not sure how much chatting I can do on this subject, though. I can certainly listen, however - and pass along feedback.
I'll be away from my computer for most of the rest of the day, but will return in the late afternoon. In the meantime, I've just vented a bit about massive amounts of keywords in another thread. ;) Since it is sort of related to this thread, here's the link:

any news here?
Not really, Adam_C.
In general, I'm not able to talk about future plans for AdWords - and this is especially true now, during our quite period.
I think that lots of folks are not aware that the quiet period extends well beyond the IPO. I believe it is for an additional 25 days.
With all that said, I can certainly pass on feedback - which I've already done in this case. ;)
