Is "Winning Results with Google AdWords" by Andrew Goldman a good book for someone new to PPC? Is there a better or more up to date book?

Thanks

I believe this is the best place to start [google.com...]

I'm a big fan of Andrew Goodman's book. Some of the detail is outdated, but the bedrock advice on PPC is good.

Perry Marshall has a book out this month on Adwords. Might be worth a look.

The two best books are:

Mike Moran's IBM SEM book.
Andreas Ramos' Insider SEO.

Both at Amazon.

I second the learning centre link... That's all you need to know about AdWords... The rest is common sense imo!
