Minimum Bid Question

Does it go down after high CTR?

If I see a keyword with a minimum bid of say .20 per click and I activate it., will I ever get clicks on that word below .20? Assume I do very well with a high CTR and all that good stuff. Or is the .20 set in stone, never get it cheaper?

It probably will get more expensive, even with a good CTR.

Yes you can get bids below your minimum bid. It happens to me all the time. If you have a good CTR your bid price can go down.

happens for me as well. as i work with very large adgroups, with lots of keywords i decided to put the ones inactive for search in a different adgroup (QS?). still get clicks from those... so their min bids must have dropped ;)

In my experience, I would say that it can go way down depending on CTR. I have taken a $0.20 minimum bid down to $0.01 within 2 weeks but the CTR was very high ~25%
