REFUNDING AdWords Subscribers

when AdSense users are terminated

Often times I see AdSense users making posts about how they were suspended or otherwise terminated from the AdSense program for "invalid clicks". Often times these people have "earned" 4 to 5 figures, which they never receive from Google due to termination.

Since that money comes from us (AdWords Advertisers) shouldn't we be getting some of that back? I mean if Google found someone clicking ads on their own site, whether it was an individual with a browser or a program that does it, shouldn't they refund our money when this is detected? Whether the advertiser feels they were wrongfully terminated or not isn't really relevant - for whatever reason Google determined that there were fraudulent clicks from this user and shut them off. Now I'd like my refund if any of those fraudulent clicks were on my ads.

Or has Google decided they're going to profit from fraud by collecting our money from known invalid clicks and keeping it?

They do from time to time provide kinda unannounced refunds. One would assume this stems from shady content or search partners.

From my understanding they do give refunds and I got three of them. That's why I don't advertise on the partner sites anymore because it's to risky, it happen to me three times which makes me wonder how many times has this happen and Google never found out?

I would think they would have to give you a refund by law, isn't that fraud?

I posted in the AdSense forum that I have seen refunds for various amounts up to $200.00 (exact) since 2003 but none seen in 2002. You cannot pinpoint if the cause was entirely invalid AdSense clicks.

I am surprised that the payments are not more regular. Assume your adwords are shown across 100 websites and 5 get kicked out this month, one next month.

Surely you would get some sort of refund each month-OK one month it might just be cents and the next it would be $ perhaps the next $$ etc.

However, with the number of publishers being kicked out and not being paid for two months of "earnings" I can't see why you only get a refund periodically and not regularly every time a publisher gets kicked.

the only thing you can really do is check your ROI.

there will always be invalid clicks, fraud, and other nefarious things online.

As long as your are making a large enough profit, then all is well.

We have total control on how we expand and perfect our businesses. That's what we should be spending our time doing instead of worry about the "little things".
