Can someone give me a definition of CTR?

I am not sure if my understanding of CTR is correct.

The CTR is the percentage of people that have clicked on my website as a percentage of the total number of people searching using a keyword or keyphrase covering that area or topic. Would that be correct?.
Thanks.

Cheers

Click through rate is the percentage of the total people who saw your ad (impressions) who also clicked on it.

Hey Markco, thought I'd post a link to the glossary in the AdWords FAQ, just in case there are any other terms that need defining. ;)

All glossary terms
[adwords.google.com...]

From the glossary, for CTR:

Clickthrough Rate - Clickthrough rate (CTR) is the number of clicks your ad receives divided by the number of times your ad is shown (impressions).
