Changing Destination url and it's effect on the history

Can you keep the history on a KW?

If I change my destination url, does that mean I lose the history on that particular KW?

Also if I move the kw to a new ad group does the above also apply?

Thanks ppl

changing destination url = NO (imo)

moving keyword = yes (again just my opinion)

Based on a thread from last year (which I can't find atm, but does include info from AWA), Shak is correct.

Oh.. are we all sure about this? Because "moving" implies deletion of the keyword in the old adgroup and adding it into a new one.

I remember AWA mentioning many times that if a keyword has been disabled due to low CTR, you have to delete all instances of that keyword across the account. I presume that's because the history of the keyword is erased when you delete the keyword.
