Unless you are Orbitz and spend a gagillion dollars on Adwords, Google won't allow an ad click to go to a page where a popup, popunder or any other web device that sucks to be on the page.

If you are promoting a merchant via affiliate marketing, ask or look for a link that doesn't have a popup.

If the popup is on your own site, disable or create a copy of the page that is indentical to the normal page but doesn't have the poup call.

Popups suck anyway.

Not sure what you mean by popup block.

You need to block pop-ups on the site when the referrer is AdWords.

thanks Skibum and Mike - what I meant by pop up block is "crazyBrowser". What I am trying to say is that having "crazybrowser" does not protect you from your link generating pop ups on the affiliate site? does that make sense to you? thanks guys

I think what you are saying is that you personally run a popup blocker on your own browser...if that is the case that has nothing to do with how you link into an affiliate site.
