It takes me several tries to modify some settings due to slow performance on the google ad words site. But I wonder if it's just my internet connection (adsl 256 kb) or it's a known problem with the site...
silverbytes, this could have something to do with your Internet connection, the 'rev level' of your browser, and perhaps even your browser's 'security settings'.
You shouldn't get 'timed out' while making changes, (and this sounds like what is happening). I haven't heard of this as an issue with the AdWords site - and believe me, if it were an issue, I'd be hearing about it!
You may want to write to AdWords support (using the 'Contact Us' link on each page of the account) and ask about it - including as much of the following as possible:
* What operating system are you using? Example: MAC 9.2.1.
* What browser version are you using? Please specify the exact version. (In IE, use 'About Internet Explorer' in the Help menu; in Netscape, use 'About Communicator,' also in the Help menu.)
* When and where are you encountering difficulties? Are you receiving any specific error messages?
* What is the URL of the page that you are trying to access, or on which you are having trouble?
* How often does this occur? Is this your first time encountering this problem or has it been a consistent issue?
