Feature Request: Variables in Ad Content

Would love the ability to make small changes across entire account.

I've found that including some very specific details (such as prices) in the Title and Description help both the CTR and CR. The only problem is that when the details change you have to change all of your ad copy, risk having some previously approved ads disapproved, and miss out on some traffic until the new ads are reviewed. In some cases, I have around a hundred ads that contain one piece of variable information.

Similiar to how we can insert the search terms, I'd like to be able to insert a campaign-wide or account-wide variable. For instance; {Variable:WidgetPrice}. I could specify that WidgetPrice = $19.99 at the Campaign level, then use the variable in my ads. When the price changes, I could update it to $20.99 or $18.99 and not have to change each creative.

Surely this would be a time-saver for the editors who review the ads, too.

I'll pass your suggestion on, MovingOnUp.

However, please know that a very important part of the review process is to make sure that whatever the ads says is reflected on the site it links to. Because of this, I don't really think that your idea would allow for circumventing the review process, if I've understood you correctly.
