AdWords Conversion Not Being Reported?

All but 1 conversions have disappeared

I ran a report on one of my client accounts this morning to check their conversion this month, and AdWords is showing 0s for the 4 conversion types they use, and a 1 in the total conversions column.

Checking other stats programs, I know that those reports should show at least 100 in the total conversions column, and at least 10 in the sales conversions column.

Has anyone else experienced reporting problems this morning/recently?

Yep, am seeing the same thing here. It seems to happen if I look back very far - ex: run an all time report (from a template that has worked before) and it now shows 0 conversions. Look at yesterdays stats and can see my conversion metrics. Must be some database or query params error or adjustments going on. Submit a trouble ticket.

My apology for the inconvenience, to those of you who are experiencing this. Engineering is on this as a priority - and it's worth mentioning that no data has been lost.

I'll post again when I know more.

Just wanted to check in. No update on this as yet, I'm sorry to say - but I'll certainly post again when I have news to report.

am secretly hoping back end guys are working on making conversion tracking track to time, not just date... dayparting feature G added can only be set right if you can see hourly (not daily) conversion data... :-)

awa - thanks for posting on the daily conversion data issue progress.

AdWordsAdvisor,

Please get this corrected quickly as it is about time to starting repoting monthly info to clients...

I've suspected this for many months but have no way to prove it because I cannot see the logs from my affiliate site.

But I've noticed that many times I'll run ads and will see a spike in sales even though adwords doesn't show it. It's happened enough times that I'm getting more sure that adwords is just not tracking them though.

I almost hesitate to say this (as I hate to give information which turns out to have been either under or over optimistic later on) - but I understand that this will likely be resolved by the middle of next week.

I do know, of course, that sooner is better than later - and I apologize for the inconvenience. In the meantime, as eWhisper noted in another thread on the subject:

I've heard this bug is active when you run summary data, and that the only way to get around it is to run daily data and then add up the numbers.

Feature I'd Like to See:

Messages within the interface alerting users to known issues such as these - with current status & timestamp.

Seems to me that such communication would be significant time-savers not only for the advertiser, but for the reps repeatedly fielding the same question throughout the day, as well.

It's not working yet and I need to pull a whole load of reports off.

Hopefully we can run them all again tomorrow with the conversion figures showing up.

It is the 8th August today and I really thought that there would be a fix for this a lot sooner!

Yep, still not working. Two weeks with no reliable reporting! This is making client reporting and overall measurement extremely difficult.

I understand your frustration, and, coincidentally, have just included a couple of quotes in this weeks Advertiser Feedback on the subject.

As I mentioned before, I'm still anticipating a resolution this week - and do apologize to those affected.

We have not had reporting on our client accounts since the 27 july to date -
We have done a workaround, doing daily reports and then amalgamating the data and then presenting those figures to clients.

its a pain and our reps :
a. cant give us a 'its fixed' date
b. don't have a reporting system where they can automatically tell their clients that something is either broken or fixed.

I assume this problem is local to certain datacentres (if thats the right term) becasuse if it was global I guess I would have seen 1000's of postings about this

Were in Central London.

AWA,
Also look into this problem - it appears to be associated (at least it popped up about the same time).

If you create a report (say monthly) and save the template... when you open it again to edit it, it REVERTS TO SUMMARY... not the monthly you had saved it under.

If you have it set to monthly and do a "save and run", it still gets saved as a SUMMARY.

Still down on my end as of today. I was getting by with the daily reports and aggregation, but now I need to run keyword reports with conversion information. This is pretty frustrating.

Please keep us updated and keep pushing, AWA.

Disappointing, but not surprising, that this has not be corrected-fixed yet.

I've had numbers show for over a week - but they have been very wrong and have been changing wildly.

I hope it's fixed, but numbers appearing (at least for me) isn't a definitive fix...

AWA, can you please confirm?
